Tamba

The ‘twins and multiple birth association’ campaigns at a national level for all multiple birth families. They provide an emergency telephone helpline and literature on most issues facing multiple families. Support groups include Supertwins, One parent families, and special needs.

 

Home Start

Home-Start describes itself as the UK's leading family support charity. Their volunteers help parents going through difficult times including coping with twins, triplets, or several pre-school children. Uniquely the volunteers will visit you in your own home and can provide an extra pair of hands when you need it most. Contact them directly or speak to us at Cambridge Twins Club for more details – they’ve helped many of us!

 

La Leche League

La Leche League aims to help mothers to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education.

 

National Childbirth Trust (NCT)

The NCT has a nearly new sale which is usually twice yearly in the Cambridge area. It is an extremely useful place to get babies’ and children’s clothes and equipment.

This advice and support forum is a source of help and support, especially in the early months.
